J'attendrai le suivant… is a French short film by Philippe Orreindy from 2002.

action

A woman enters the metro. A man gets on after her and suddenly introduces himself to the passengers. His name is Antoine, he is 29 years old, a computer scientist and read in a newspaper that there are 5 million single women in France. He himself is looking for a woman - the great love that he has not been able to find on the Internet, for example. Some people start laughing and a passenger offers to have his wife. The woman watches the man and finds him likeable. He ends his performance with the request that women who feel addressed should get off at the next station, where he will then meet them. When the metro stops, the woman has made up her mind. Smiling happily, she walks past him and leaves the metro. He looks after her, confused. When the door closes, he shouts after her that it was all just a sketch performance. The metro continues and you can hear Antoine thank the “spectators” and ask for money for the performance. The woman remains shaken.
