Jennifer J. "JJ" Isler (* 1. December 1963 in La Jolla as Jennifer Bold ) is a former American sailor .

successes

JJ Isler took part in the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 and in Sydney in 2000 in the 470 dinghy . Together with Pamela Healy , she won the bronze medal in 1992 when she finished the regatta with 40.7 points behind the Spanish and New Zealand boats. The year before, Healy and Isler had won the World Championships in Brisbane . As early as 1988, Isler secured bronze at the side of Amy Wardell in Haifa . She finished the 2000 Olympic Games with Sarah Glaser in second place behind Jenny Armstrong and Belinda Stowell , with which they won the silver medal. In 1995, Isler was a member of the Citizen Cup crew on the yacht Mighty Mary , the first yacht with an all-women crew in this competition.
