Jacinto Guerrero Torres

Jacinto Guerrero Torres (born September 6, 1934 in Arandas , Jalisco , † December 27, 2006 in Puebla ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Tlaxcala in Mexico .

Life

Jacinto Guerrero Torres was ordained a priest on May 3, 1964 .

On December 5, 1990, he was appointed coadjutor bishop of Tlaxcala by Pope John Paul II . The Pope personally donated him episcopal ordination on January 6 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Giovanni Battista Re , substitute for the Vatican State Secretariat, and Justin Francis Rigali , secretary of the Congregation for Bishops and the College of Cardinals .

With the retirement of Luis Escobar Munive on 10 February 2001, he followed this on the same day as Bishop of Tlaxcala.

He died on December 27, 2006 at the age of 72.
