Career
Marks played between 1901 and 1911 for various teams in the province of Ontario, including the Ontario Professional Hockey League . For the 1911/12 season , the striker joined the Quebec Bulldogs from the National Hockey Association , with whom he was able to win the Stanley Cup in 1912 and 1913, respectively . Marks remained loyal to the French Canadians until 1917, before joining the newly formed National Hockey League with the Montreal Wanderers through a dispersal draft . The Bulldogs also belonged to the league, but were unable to take part in the game due to financial difficulties.
Mark's stay with the Wanderers was short-lived, as their venue burned down on the foundation walls in a fire and play could not be continued. The attacker reached the Toronto Arenas in January 1918 via another Dispersal Draft . With these celebrated his third Stanley Cup victory. After he had not played the 1918/19 season , he returned in November 1919 to the Quebec Bulldogs, who competed in the NHL for the first time in the 1919/20 season.
