Jacob Lemp
Jacob Lemp (* between 1460 and 1470 in Steinheim an der Murr ; † April 2, 1532 in Tübingen ) was a German theologian and lawyer .
Life
Lemp studied and taught from 1482 until his death in 1532 at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . During this time he was entrusted with the office of rector eleven times. Johannes Reuchlin dedicated his edition of the Seven Psalms of Penance to him in 1512 and had him accompany him in 1513 to assist him in a legal dispute before the spiritual court in Mainz .
No writings by Jacob Lemp have survived. Johannes Eck is his most famous student .
