Jacob Stephan
Jacob Stephan (also Jakob ) (born November 13, 1820 in Blödesheim ; † September 20, 1905 in Osthofen ) was a Hessian merchant and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .
Stephan was the son of the farmer Nikolaus Stephan and his wife Christina nee Flörsch. His brother Peter Stephan (1818–1888) was also a member of parliament. He lived as a coal dealer in Osthofen .
From 1872 to 1890 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 4 / Osthofen and the National Liberal Party .
