Jacques Poulin

Jacques Poulin (born September 23, 1937 ) is a French-Canadian writer from the province of Québec .

Poulin studied psychology at the Université Laval in the city of Québec . He initially worked as a translator and university tutor before the success of his second work "Jimmy" allowed him to make a living from writing.

Probably his most successful book is the novel “Volkswagen Blues”, in which the connection between French-Canadian history and that of the entire North American continent is discussed.

Poulin lived in Paris for a long time before returning to Québec.
