Jade Boho Sayo (born August 30, 1986 in Valladolid ) is a Spanish - Equatorial Guinean soccer player .

Career

Spain

Jade started her career in Spain in 2000 with AD Orcasitas where she went to the youth boarding school for 3 years. In 2003 she received an offer from AD Torrejón CF and left Orcasitas. After four years at the first level, Jade decided to join Rayo Vallecano in the summer of 2007 . On August 3, 2013, she left Rayo Vallecano after six years and moved to the women's football department of Atlético Madrid .

Great Britain

International

Jade took part in the 2004 Women's U-19 Football Championship in Finland for her country of birth, Spain , and scored the first goal in the final against the German U-19 national football team .

She has been part of the Equatorial Guinean national team since 2010 and should compete for them at the 2011 Women's World Cup in Germany . However, this was prevented by a two-month ban by FIFA shortly after the start of the tournament. Spiegel Online stated that the reason confirmed by FIFA was that after Jade was known to have played in the U-19 for Spain - which would not have prevented a change of association - it suddenly turned out that she had also played for Spain's senior team . According to Article 15 of the FIFA Statutes, it is not possible to switch to another senior national team. Other German sources only suspected this and spoke of a "temporary" ban (while the Spiegel article speaks of a "confirmation" of the ban).

Other sources claim no use in the senior national team of Spain, so that the association change would have been allowed. Individual sources give no comprehensible reason for the two-month ban. On the other hand, there is information that the dressing change was generally permissible, but was not carried out correctly or on time. It is said to have been a "problem with the [FIFA] register". A very detailed source states that the two-month suspension was a punishment for Jade's unjustified accusation in the 2010 African Cup of Nations for Equatorial Guinea because she had not yet "released" herself from the Spanish national team in the required manner. Jade then won (unopposed) to the Equatorial Guinea national football team of the women , the 2012 African Women's Championship .
