Jade Goody Cerisa Lorraine (* 5. June 1981 in Bermondsey , † 22. March 2009 in Upshire, community Waltham Abbey , Essex ) was a British reality TV -Teilnehmerin that within the United Kingdom in 2002 through the show Big Brother radio station Channel 4 became known.

Goody released her autobiography and various fitness programs on DVD. Jade's Shape Challenge came under fire when the Daily Mail published that Goody had paid £ 4,500 for liposuction at a private clinic.

In January 2007, Goody took part in the show Celebrity Big Brother , with her racist comments about her fellow candidate, Indian actress Shilpa Shetty , adding to her national notoriety. To make amends, Goody appeared on Big Boss , the Indian edition of Big Brother. There she found out in August 2008 in front of the cameras that she had cervical cancer . In February 2009 it was announced that the cancer had metastasized and that Jade Goody had only a few weeks to live. Goody did not withdraw from the public, but instead let the press continue to report on her private life, which triggered wide national and international media coverage. The proceeds from press royalties will benefit Goody's two children. On February 22, 2009, she married her boyfriend Jack Tweed. On March 22, 2009, Jade Goody succumbed to cancer.
