Jacob Friedrich Dyckerhoff (born December 12, 1774 in Mannheim ; † October 12, 1845 ibid) was a German builder or architect and Baden construction clerk in the age of classicism . He was involved in the planning of the Mannheim harbor and held the titles of court building inspector and chief engineer .

Jacob Friedrich Dyckerhoff the son of the Grand Ducal Baden hydraulic and structural engineering inspector Friedrich Christian Dyckerhoff , other sources refer to the father as the chief construction director. According to Wolfgang Münkel, his father was Fr. Christoph Dyckerhoff, who brought him to Mannheim and Schwetzingen in 1801 to help him design the palace gardens. He learned drawing from Johann Jakob Rieger (1754–1811) at the Mannheim Drawing Academy .

Jacob Friedrich Dyckerhoff was married to Katharina geb. Hit. His daughter Maria Katharina was married to August Lamey . He designed public and private buildings such as the Bassermannsche Haus (R1) and the Lameysche Haus in Mannheim R7. He removed walls and continued correcting the Rhine. He also worked as a painter and was interested in the beginnings of photography. In 1815 he went to Karlsruhe as a court architect. His grave consists of a neo-Gothic sandstone stele with an embedded marble writing tablet. The marble relief shows the risen Christ.
