Jakob Jung

Jakob Jung (born October 27, 1895 in Rückweiler , † after 1935 ) was a German National Socialist and old fighter of the NSDAP .

Life

Jakob Jung lived in Sankt Arnual (Saarbrücken) and worked as an administrative assistant. On November 29, 1926, he joined the NSDAP and was listed with membership number 47,862. On December 8, 1926 he was appointed Gauleiter and Ortsgruppenführer of the NSDAP Saarbrücken and confirmed by Adolf Hitler on January 1, 1927 . He thus succeeded Walter Jung , who unofficially headed the NSDAP in the Saar area up to this point. On April 21, 1929, Jung resigned in protest against the Reich leadership and his party comrade and adversary Otto Fried .

He continued to be a member of the NSDAP and was appointed mayor of Gersweiler in 1935.
