Jakub Rzeźniczak (born October 26, 1986 in Łódź ) is a Polish football player .

Career

society

Rzeźniczak went through all the youth teams of Widzew Łódź . In the 2003/04 season he made his debut in the Polish Ekstraklasa at the age of 16 . In 2004 he was signed by Legia Warsaw and was used regularly in the 2004/05 and 2005/06 seasons . In the summer of 2006 he was loaned to his home club Widzew Łódź for one season. Since 2007 he has played again for Legia Warsaw and is a regular there. With Legia, he has since been four times Polish champion and six times cup winner. In 2017 he then moved to Qarabağ Ağdam in Azerbaijan . Here, too, he immediately won the championship twice.

Internationally, he played for the first time in the 2004/05 season . He made his debut for Legia in the second leg of the second round of the UEFA Cup qualification against the representative from Georgia , FC Tbilisi . Rzeźniczak played 90 minutes. The game ended 6-0. By 2019, he had played a total of 79 games at international club level and scored two goals.

National team

He made his international debut for Poland on December 14, 2008 in a friendly against Serbia (1-0). The central defender played his last international match in a friendly against the Moldovan national team on January 20, 2014.
