Jalen Carnell Collins (* 20th March 1993 in Kansas City , Missouri ) is an American American football poker players on the position of the cornerbacks . He plays for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Collins attended high school in Olive Branch , Mississippi . He later attended Louisiana State University . After the 2014 college football season, he announced that he would be participating in the 2015 NFL Draft .

NFL

Atlanta Falcons

Collins was selected 42nd place by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft . On May 9, 2015, Collins signed a four-year contract with the Falcons. In his first professional season he was active in all 16 games of the season, but only twice as a starter. Before his second professional season, he was banned from the NFL for four games for abuse of performance-enhancing substances. On December 27, 2016, in the game against the Carolina Panthers , he scored his first interception in the NFL. A week later, in the game against the New Orleans Saints , he immediately followed up with a second interception. On January 14, 2017, Collins played his first play-off game against the Seattle Seahawks , which were defeated 36:20. On January 22, 2017 in the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers, he forced the Packers fullback , Aaron Ripkowski , to a fumble , which he secured himself. The game was won 44:21. Thus, Collins reached the Super Bowl LI with the Falcons , which was lost to the New England Patriots at 28:34 . On August 6, 2017, he was banned from playing ten games for again taking banned, performance-enhancing substances. He was released by the Falcons on November 21, 2017.

Indianapolis Colts

On November 15, 2018, Collins was added to the Practice Squad of the Indianapolis Colts , but remained without active assignments in the 2018 season .
