James Bachman (born February 24, 1972 in Cuckfield , Sussex , England ) is an English actor , screenwriter and comedian .

Life

He is one of the main characters in the series Die Mannohnekopf Show (English Sorry, I've got no head ). In the German translation it is spoken by Bastian Pastewka .

He wrote texts and scripts for several British radio and television programs, such as That Mitchell and Webb Look (2006-2007), That Mitchell and Webb Sound (2003-2007), Popetown (2005) and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway (2002-2007) 2003). As a performer, he has appeared in That Mitchell and Webb Look (2006-2007), Saxondale (2006-2007), The Mighty Boosh (2005), The IT Crowd (2007) and many other television and radio programs. In the winter of 2006 he toured with David Mitchell and Robert Webb as part of their live show The Two Faces of Mitchell and Webb . In 2007 he appeared as Harry Biscuit in the radio comedy Bleak Expectations .

He helped write the script and performed with Mark Evans , Lucy Montgomery and Barunka O'Shaughnessy as part of Population: 3 .

On May 6, 2008, he took with Mark Evans on the audition of their BBC Radio 4 comedy show Zoom ; The lead actors were David Soul , Carla Medonca and Jon Glover , with a special guest appearance by Nicholas Parsons as himself.

He studied at Radley College and the physics and mathematics at Emmanuel College of University of Cambridge , where he a member of the Footlights was.
