James Dashner
James Smith Dashner (born November 26, 1972 in Austell , Georgia ) is an American writer of many fantasy series and novels, including the 13th Reality series and the Jimmy Fincher saga . Dashner also wrote the first and last book in the Infinity Ring series. Dashner's novel The Journal of Curious Letters was chosen as Original Voice in 2008 by the international book retailer Borders Group .
Life
James Dashner was born on November 26, 1972 in Austell, Georgia and has five siblings. He attended Brigham Young University in Utah , where he received his Masters in Accounting. He worked in the financial industry for a while but then decided to try his hand at writing as he had been an active reader since childhood. Dashner is married to Lynette Anderson and they live in the Rocky Mountains with their four children .
Dashner's books like The Thirteenth Reality and the series The Chosen are written for young people. The Chosen - In the Labyrinth was filmed and was released under the title Maze Runner - The Chosen in the Labyrinth on September 19, 2014 in the USA. He usually writes adventure and science fiction novels. The elect - In the maze spent a year on the New York Times - bestseller list . Dashner also won various prizes:
