Jaminton Leandro Campaz (born May 24, 2000 in Ibagué ) is a Colombian football player who is under contract with the first division club Deportes Tolima . The winger is a former Colombian U17 international .

Career

Jaminton Campaz hails from Deportes Tolima's youth division , where he was first promoted to the first team in the 2017 season . On April 1, 2017 (11th matchday) he made his debut in a 3-0 home win against Tigres FC in the top Colombian division when he was on the pitch from the start and scored a goal in the 63rd minute of the game. That game year he played five league games in which he scored once. In the following 2018 season he was not considered once. In the next season of 2019 he was able to successfully establish himself in the starting lineup. On October 4, 2019 (14th matchday), he scored the first brace of his professional career. The season was finished third in the table and Campaz contributed five goals in 30 league games. In February 2020, he shot his team to a 1-0 victory in both the first and second leg of the 2nd round of the Copa Libertadores against CSD Macará .

National team

In mid-February 2017 Jaminton Campaz was nominated by head coach Orlando Restrepo to join the squad of the Colombian U17 national team for the U17 South American Championship 2017 . There he was used in all nine games of the selection, in which he scored three goals. In October 2017, he played in all four games of the 2017 U17 World Cup in India .
