Jan Everse (born May 8, 1922 in Rotterdam , † October 15, 1974 ) was a Dutch football player .
Everse played for Neptunus Rotterdam (at least from 1946 to 1950) and for XerxesDZB in the highest Dutch league. He was also active at RSV HION and the FC Den Haag predecessor Holland Sport .
As early as 1948 in the last preparatory game for the Olympic Games , the defender was part of the Dutch national team as well as the games themselves, but was not used in the two matches in Portsmouth and London . On June 16, 1949, he was allowed to appear in Oranje for the first time ; in the friendly against Finland in Helsinki he was one of three debutants like goalkeeper Dré Saris and striker Jan van Roessel . Not least thanks to two goals by van Roessels, the Netherlands won 4-1. In the next two games at home against Belgium and Denmark there was a 0-1 defeat with Everse; against Denmark he was substituted in the 84th minute against Frans Steenbergen . These three games were the only ones with Jan Everse in the Dutch team before his son Jan jr. also competed for the first time in Orange on April 30, 1975 .
