Jan Fießer (born January 2, 1987 in Heidelberg ) is a German football player . He is a midfielder and usually plays as a six .

Career

In his youth Fießer played for SpVgg Baiertal and VfB Wiesloch , before moving first to the youth department of SV Waldhof Mannheim and then to Eintracht Frankfurt , where he made two appearances in the German U-19 national team in early 2006 . In the summer of 2006 he began his career in the senior division at KSV Hessen Kassel in the Regionalliga Süd . There he immediately had a regular place and in two years ran a total of 61 times for Hessen, scoring three goals.

After he missed qualification for the newly created 3rd division with his club in 2008 , he moved to the third division SV Sandhausen at the beginning of the 2008/09 season . Here he initially had to be content with a bench seat, but played his way into the team over the course of the season. In his first year as a professional he made a total of 20 appearances and two goals. In the following season he was a fixture in the team from the start, but missed the last games due to a broken collarbone , so that he could only increase his statistics slightly to 24 games. He also scored twice. At the end of the round, his contract ran out, so he could move to SV Wehen Wiesbaden for free for the 2010/11 season , where he signed for two years. At the end of the 2010/11 season Fießer dissolved his contract with SVW by mutual agreement and moved back to SV Sandhausen, where he signed a two-year contract. In the Palatinate, he quickly played his way back into the regular formation and at the end of the season he reached the championship and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with the team. After the relegation of Sandhausen at the end of the 2012/13 season , he moved to the second division Arminia Bielefeld free of charge with a contract term until June 2015 . From 2014 to 2016 he was active for 1. FC Saarbrücken and switched to the second team of FC Schalke 04 during the summer break of 2016 . After one season he left FC Schalke 04 and moved to Rot-Weiss Frankfurt .
