Jan Holldack (born May 11, 1996 in Troisdorf ) is a German soccer player . He is under contract with VfR Aalen and is used defensively and offensively in various positions.

Career

From the C-youth of his youth club FC Hennef 05 , he switched to the youth team of 1. FC Köln in the 2011/12 season , where he played in the B-Youth-Bundesliga and then in the A-Youth-Bundesliga in the following years . At first he often acted as a central defender, but then switched to the right defensive flank or the defensive midfield. In the summer of 2015, he moved to England for Brentford FC , for whose U21 team and second team Holldack played primarily. He made his only appearance in the first team on August 9, 2016, when he lost in the first round of the EFL Cup with his team at Exeter City (0: 1 n.V.). At the beginning of 2017, he completed a trial training with Sportfreunde Lotte , but the change did not materialize. Instead, he joined the western regional division Wuppertaler SV on loan , for whom he scored three goals in 12 games. The league competitor KFC Uerdingen 05 signed Holldack afterwards. With the Krefelders he rose to the 3rd division and came to 21 games (two goals) in the promotion season.

In summer 2019 Holldack followed his teammate Robin Benz to the regional league team Bonner SC , where he received a one-year contract. Half a year later he moved to the Regionalliga Südwest for VfR Aalen .

National team

Holldack played two games for the German U18 national team in a youth tournament in Israel in mid-December 2013 : first against Moldova's U19s (3-1) and three days later against Serbia's U18s (1-1).
