Gino Windmüller (born June 20, 1989 ) is a German soccer player .

Career

In his youth, Windmüller played for Bonner SC and SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 . In 2010 he moved to the second team of Fortuna Düsseldorf , where he could not prevail. After his contract expired in 2011, he was without a club for a few months before playing for SV Bergisch Gladbach again. In 2012 he was promoted to the Regionalliga West with Bergisch Gladbach . In the 2012/13 season he scored ten goals as a defender, seven of them with a header. Bergisch Gladbach got down anyway. For the 2013/14 season , Windmüller moved to third division club SSV Jahn Regensburg , where he played 59 games in the next two seasons. After relegation from the 3rd division in 2014/15 , he moved to the Regionalliga West at Rot-Weiss Essen . With Essen he won the Niederrhein Cup in 2016 with a 3-0 final victory against Wuppertaler SV . After two years on Hafenstrasse, Windmüller signed a contract with league competitor Wuppertaler SV until June 30, 2019. Then he moved to VfR Aalen, who had been relegated from the third division .

Gino Windmüller is the younger brother of Nina Windmüller , who plays soccer for 1. FC Köln .
