Jan Sievers (born August 19, 1967 in Weil der Stadt ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

In 1975 Sievers started playing soccer at SpVgg Weil der Stadt. In 1983 he went to VfL Sindelfingen, where he stayed for a total of six years and made the leap into the first team. Jan Sievers then went to Ditzingen, from where he moved to Northern Germany in 1990. He stayed there until the end of his career in 2001. He made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on July 10, 1992 for VfL Osnabrück under coach Hubert Hüring .

Jan Sievers played a total of 124 second division games and scored 29 goals.
