Career

Duda, who started his career at TS Wisła Zakopane , made his World Cup debut on January 26, 1980 in Zakopane . One day later he achieved his best World Cup result of his career with 30th place. After a two-month break, he was again part of the Polish squad at the end of the World Cup season in Štrbské Pleso , but could not jump any points again.

For the 1982/83 World Cup season , Duda was an integral part of the Polish national team. In his first and only Four Hills Tournament , he finished 56th overall. After he was only found in the lower ranks in the following World Cup competitions, Duda was deleted from the World Cup team at the end of January. Nevertheless, he was able to celebrate his greatest success in February 1983 when he was able to leave Piotr Fijas and Tadeusz Fijas behind at the national championships of the Średnia Krokiew and won the championship.

Duda started between 1983 and 1985 in a total of five competitions of the second-rate European Cup , where he achieved his best placement with ninth place in Chamonix in January 1984. In the Beskydy Tour Duda was a regular participant, but was only able to place in the middle field in the first few years. He achieved his best result in 1985 when he took second place in the Malinka jumping in Wisła , which was still not enough for a podium place in the overall standings.

Duda ended his career in 1988 after finishing ninth at the Polish Championships in Zakopane .
