Janusz Radek
Janusz Dariusz Radek (born April 6, 1968 in Starachowice ) is a Polish singer, actor and representative of sung poetry .
Life
Janusz Radek is a graduate of History from Jagiellonian University in Krakow . His professional career as a singer began in 1990 when he won 1st place at the 17th All-Polish Castle Meeting of Sung Poetry . He began to write and sing songs to texts by Bolesław Leśmian , Leopold Staff and EE Cummings . From 1994 to 1995 he was a member of the Krakow cabaret Zielone Szkiełko (German Green Glass Splinter ) and also appeared on the stage at Piwnica pod Baranami . He also played in various rock and punk rock bands.
Janusz Radek is married and has two daughters.

- 1990 - Lira Orfeusza - 1st place at the 17th All Polish Castle Meeting of Sung Poetry (Śpiewajmy Poezję) in Olsztyn
- 1992 - 3rd place at the student song festival (Studencki Festiwal Piosenki) in Krakow
- 2001 - Golden mask for the role of Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar
- 2003 - Grand Prix, Audience Award and Journalists Award at the 24th Actors' Song Show (Przegląd Piosenki Aktorskiej) in Wroclaw
- 2003 - Journalist Prize at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole (Krajowy Festiwal Piosenki Polskiej w Opolu)
- 2004 - Nomination for the Fryderyk in the category singer and pop album of the year
- 2007 - 1st place at the festival TOPtrendy ( Sopot TOPtrendy festiwal) for his album success
- 2009 - Audience award at the 2nd Theater Music Festival (Festiwal Teatrów Muzycznych) in Gdynia for the best male role in Jesus Christ Superstar
