Jaroslav Foldyna (born June 26, 1960 in Česká Lípa ) is a Czech politician from the ČSSD and current member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic .

Career

Trained as a ship mechanic in 1978, Jaroslav Foldyna passed the state examination for inland navigation and radio operator in 1987 . In 2006 he became a student of Christian Orthodox theology at the University of Prešov (Department of the University of Olomouc ).

Jaroslav Foldyna is married to Blanka Foldynová. You are the parents of a daughter. The son Jaroslav (* 1983) and daughter Klára (* 1987) were born in a former marriage.

Foreign policy

Kosovo crisis

After the separatists ruling Kosovo unilaterally declared independence in 2008, Jaroslav Foldyna took part in a series of demonstrations against the recognition of the independence of the southern Serbian province, organized by the petition community The stately (courageous) seven ( Czech sedm statečných ). Jaroslav Foldyna is a member of the Christian Orthodox Knight Order of Saints Constantine and Helena (based in Teplitz-Schönau ).
