The Jarvis Creek is a 63 km long right tributary of the Delta River in Alaska .
Jarvis Creek is fed by an unnamed glacier on the northern flank of the northern Alaska range . The river flows in a predominantly northerly direction, about 10 km east of the Delta River . From the right flows the Riley Creek , outflow of the Riley Creek Glacier . into Jarvis Creek. This finally flows into the Delta River at Delta Junction .
The river was named in 1898 by Captain E.F. Glenn - presumably after Lieutenant David Henry Jarvis of the US Revenue Cutter Service (USRCS) .
