Jasenička Reka ( Cyrillic : Јасеничка река), often also called Vrelska Reka or Dupljanska Reka , is a 55-kilometer tributary of the Danube in eastern Serbia .
Source, course and mouth
The river has its source on the eastern slopes of the Crni Vrh, which is the highest peak of the Deli Jovan mountain range . It flows further east, past the villages of Popovica and Trnjane . In this region it is known as the Vrelska Reka River .
After the river enters the Negotinska Krajina region between the villages of Karbulovo and Jasenica , it turns north. From this point on it is known as the Jasenička Reka River . It forms an arch between Dupljane and Vidrovac , is spanned by a bridge on the federal road 35 and flows further east at Miloševo . After a few kilometers, the river reaches the northern part of the city of Negotin and flows further to the east through a river bed regulated as a canal, where the road 400 (Negotin-Radujevac) crosses the river with a bridge. It then flows past Srbovo and then flows into the Danube near the border triangle Romania- Serbia- Bulgaria .
