Jason Cloud

Jason Sinclair Cloud (* 1991 in Edina ) is an American theater actor and director . He lives in Vienna .

Life

Jason Cloud grew up in Minneapolis and moved to Vienna in 2010 , where he studied at the Prayner Conservatory . Only during his studies did he appear on the Viennese stages. Since 2018 he has been the founder, director and ensemble member of the Mental Eclipse Theater House, according to the guiding principle of Vienna's grimmest theater .

In December 2017 he will celebrate his first own production Jack Mormon on the stage of the Ateliertheater. In the 2018 season the play will be performed in the Theater Spektakel.

In spring 2018, the premiere of his stage adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, The Fall of Alice with Nina-Marie Mayer in the title role took place. In autumn 2018, the resumption with Franziska Singer as Alice in the Theater Spektakel, as well as in the theater couch. Directed by Joanna Godwin-Seidl he played at the Theater Drachengasse Sam in The Flick of Annie Baker , and the soldier in Sarah Kane's Blasted .

In December 2018 he sang Schubert's Winterreise in a scenic version with Victoria Choi on the piano. As a singer, he also achieved a certain fame in 2019 at the Wiener Konzerthaus .
