The Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium ( Arabic ملعب جاسم بن حمد, DMG Malʿab Ǧāsim b. Ḥamad ) is a football stadium in ar-Rayyan, west of the Qatari capital Doha .

World Cup qualifier between Qatar and Japan on November 19, 2008

The Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium was built in 1974 and completely renovated in 2004 and from 2009 to 2010. The stadium now has a capacity of 15,000 spectators. The Qatari first division soccer team al-Sadd SC plays its home games in this stadium. The facility serves as the national stadium for the Qatari national soccer team . In 2006, the men's soccer tournament of the Asian Games was held here. Among them was the final between Qatar and Iraq . In 2011 the stadium was one of the venues for the soccer Asian Cup .

On December 23, 2016, the match for the Supercoppa Italiana between Juventus Turin and AC Milan (1-1 a.s., 3-4 p.e.) was played in the stadium. Already in 2014 Juventus Turin faced each other as champions and SSC Napoli (2: 2 a.s., 5: 6 p.
