Javier "Javi" Muñoz Jiménez (born February 28, 1995 in Parla ) is a Spanish football player . The midfielder is under contract with Deportivo Alavés .

Career

Muñoz began his career in his hometown Parla at Club Polideportivo Parla Escuela . At the age of eleven, he moved to Real Madrid's youth team and played his first season in 2006/07 in the U-12 ( Alevín A ) of the “Royal” . For the 2013/14 season he reached the club's A youth team, won the Spanish championship with his team and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League .

In 2014/15 he was first promoted to the third team Real Madrid C , who played in the Tercera División , but due to his good management he was used for the first time on September 27, 2014 in the Real Madrid Castilla branch coached by Zinédine Zidane . Javi Muñoz made his debut for the club's first team a little later when he came on for James Rodríguez in the 63rd minute of the second leg of the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey against UE Cornellà .

For the 2017/18 season , Muñoz moved to FC Lorca in the Segunda División .
