Jean-Christophe Simond (born April 29, 1960 in Les Contamines-Montjoie ) is a former French figure skater who started in a single run .

The eight-time French champion became vice European champion in 1981 and 1982 , once behind Igor Bobrin and once behind Norbert Schramm . His best placement at world championships was 5th place, which he achieved three times in a row from 1981 to 1983 . Simond took three times at Olympic Games in part, 1976 in Innsbruck , he was 15, in 1980 in Lake Placid seventh, 1984 in Sarajevo sixth. During his career he was particularly known for his strength in the compulsory figures.

Simond trained Brian Joubert from 2006 to 2009.
