Jean-Crispin Kimbeni Ki Kanda (born October 22, 1969 in Kinshasa ) is a Congolese Roman Catholic clergyman and appointed auxiliary bishop in Kinshasa .

Life

Jean-Crispin Kimbeni Ki Kanda attended the preparatory seminar Saint Jean-Marie Vianney . He then studied philosophy and Catholic theology at the seminaries of Saint-André Kaggwa and Saint Jean XXIII . Kimbeni Ki Kanda received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Kinshasa on May 30, 1999 . He continued his studies at the Université Catholique du Congo , where he obtained a licentiate in philosophy in 2001 . At the same time, Jean-Crispin Kimbeni Ki Kanda worked as a trainer at the Cardinal Malula propaedeutic seminary from 1999 to 2002 and as diocesan chancellor of the Archdiocese of Kinshasa and vice-rector of the Notre-Dame de la Paix de Fatima sanctuary from 2001 to 2002 .

In 2002, Jean-Crispin Kimbeni Ki Kanda joined the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples . In 2011 he obtained a master's degree in bioethics from the Camillianum International Institute for Theology of the Pastoral Care of the Sick in Rome . From 2017 Kimbeni Ki Kanda was also the parish administrator of the parish of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo in Borgo Pineto in the diocese of Civita Castellana . 2019 he became specialist Health Pastoral doctorate .

On 29 June 2020 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Dragonara and auxiliary bishop in Kinshasa.
