Jean-Pierre Bernard (born January 22, 1933 as Jean-Pierre Guive Brodkorb in Paris , † July 7, 2017 there ) was a French actor .

Life

Bernard was trained at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique . He remained loyal to the theater throughout his career, including playing under Roger Planchon at the Théâtre National Populaire . He made his feature film debut in 1964 in Maurice Cloche's crime film Interpol hunts light girls alongside Pierre Mondy . Was his most famous role in the German film audience of mountaineer Jean-Paul Montaigne in Clint Eastwood - action film The Eiger from the year 1975. 1981 he was on the side of Jean-Louis Trintignant in a matter among men to see, in fact the following year he had a small role in The Legion of the Damned, with Lino Ventura in the lead role.
