Jean-Pierre de Glutz
Jean-Pierre Marie de Glutz-Ruchti (born December 27, 1946 in Geneva ) is a Swiss banker .
Life
Jean-Pierre de Glutz studied law (lic.iur.) And worked for Chase Manhattan Bank and Credit Suisse for international activities in private banking and asset management . After many years of management positions at Commerzbank , he moved to Vontobel Holding AG in 2010 and took over the management of the Geneva branch. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banque Bauer (Suisse) SA since 2011 .
Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem
Jean-Pierre de Glutz was appointed governor of the Swiss Lieutenancy of the Knightly Order of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem by the Cardinal Grand Master John Patrick Cardinal Foley . After two terms in office, Jean-Pierre de Glutz-Ruchti was relieved of duty on May 12, 2018 in Lucerne by Cardinal Grand Master Edwin Frederick Cardinal O'Brien and appointed honorary governor. He was succeeded by Donata Maria Krethlow-Benziger.
At the "Consulta 2018" in the Vatican, the General Assembly of the Papal Laity Order, he was elected Vice-Governor General for Europe. On January 1, 2019, he succeeded Giorgio Moroni Stampa .
