Jean Batten
Jean Gardner Batten CBE OSC (born September 15, 1909 in Rotorua , New Zealand , † November 22, 1982 in Mallorca ) was a New Zealand aviator . She set distance and endurance records in solo flight in the 1930s.

- 1934 England - Australia in just under 15 days in a Gipsy Moth
- 1935 Australia - England in 17 days and 15 hours. First woman who dared a return flight.
- 1935 England - Brazil in 61 hours in a Percival Vega Gull
- 1936 England - New Zealand in 11 days in a Percival Vega Gull
