Jean Plaskie (born August 24, 1941 in Brussels , † September 18, 2017 in Strombeek-Bever ) was a Belgian national football player . Plaskie played for RSC Anderlecht for 13 years and won the championship seven times and the Belgian Football Cup twice with the club .

Career

Plaskie started playing football at K.Sp.FC Haren, moved to RSC Anderlecht in 1958 and initially played as a middle player and later as a defender from 1959 to 1972 for 13 seasons for the club. After the first championship in 1962, five more followed in a row from 1964 to 1968. In addition, the team won the Belgian Football Cup in 1965 . In its last active season in 1971/72, the club won the championship and cup double again. Plaskie scored two goals in 180 league games. He also played 18 games in the European Cup and six games for Anderlecht in the UEFA Cup .

At the age of 30 Plaskie had to end his career due to an injury and devoted himself to the youth of Anderlecht as a youth coach. In September 2017, Plaskie died in Strombeek-Bever at the age of 76 .

National team

Plaskie made his debut in the Belgian national football team in 1964 . In total, he played 33 internationals by 1971.
