Jean Studer (athlete)

Jean Studer ( Jean-Ernst Studer; born September 12, 1914 in Biel / Bienne ; † February 23, 2009 ibid.) Was a Swiss long jumper and sprinter .

In the long jump he was seventh at the European Athletics Championships in Turin and was eliminated from qualification at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin.

At the European Championships in 1938 in Paris, he was seventh again in the long jump and was disqualified in the final of the 4 x 100 meter relay with the Swiss team.

At the European Championships in 1946 and the 1948 Olympic Games in London, he did not get past the first round in the long jump.
