Jeannine De Ruysscher is a former Belgian triathlete . In 1992 she was European champion over the middle distance.

Career

At the fifth European triathlon championship on the middle distance (2.5 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 20 km running) by the European Triathlon Federation (ETU) in Trier in 1990, Jeannine De Ruysscher took third place. She qualified for the Triathlon World Championship, where she was 18th in Florida in September.

In 1992 Jeannine De Ruysscher became Belgian champion in the triathlon middle distance. In August, she won the ETU European Championship on the middle distance in Finland and she took the title as the second Belgian after Lieve Paulus (1985).

Jeannine De Ruysscher has not appeared internationally since 1995.
