Lieve Cappaert-Paul (* 24 April 1966 as Lieve Paul ) is a Belgian triathlete . She is European champion triathlon middle distance (1985) and short distance (1986).

Career

Lieve Paulus joined the triathlon in 1983 at the age of 17.

She started as a professional triathlete from 1985 to 1993. In 1985 she won the first European Championship in the middle distance. In June 1986 she was ETU European Champion short distance in Milton Keynes.

She is married to Freddy Cappaert and has started as Lieve Cappaert-Paulus ever since.

Lieve Cappaert-Paulus works as a coach with her husband Freddy in the Triathlon Team Edegem .
