Jeffrey Bryan "Jeff" Davis (born October 6, 1973 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor , comedian and improviser.

Early years

Jeff B. Davis was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Whittier . At the age of four he was already in front of the camera for commercials and was also on stage for the play You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the Groundlings Theater in Hollywood, where he vomited on the director at the premiere. Davis attended La Serna High School in Whittier. At 11, he took on the role of Louis in a production of The King and I on the side of Yul Brynner . After the latter vomited again on Davis at this premiere, he decided to focus on a comic career in the future. The premiere was followed by a nationwide tour that lasted a total of six months. Davis then returned to high school.

Career

Davis took his first acting role in front of the camera at the age of 12 in 1986 with a guest appearance on the series An Angel on Earth . After graduating from school, he concentrated on his improvisational presentations. He joined the group Impromptones , which performed improvised songs based on audience requests. Some of her works were released on CD under the title Steamy Monday . In 1996 the group separated to devote themselves to new projects. Davis subsequently appeared on the late night show Kwik Witz , along with Wayne Brady . In 1997 he founded his own improvisation group, Newtronics , which was similar in content to the Impromptones . With her, Davis performed nationwide and also took part in the Chicago Improv Festival several times. His improvisations include parodies by actors Jeff Goldblum and Christopher Walken .

From 2001 Davis was on the improv show Whose Line Is It Anyway? to see. In 2003 he appeared in the short-lived sketch show On the Spot . Also in 2003 he took on a recurring role in the series Happy Family , which he played until 2004. In 2004 he was seen as Eric in the horror film Trespassing . Other television appearances followed in Joey , Yacht Rock , True Blood , The Sarah Silverman Program , Melrose Place , Suits , Fuller House and Rick and Morty . From 2010 to 2011 he acted as an announcer on the game show The Price is Right . Davis is friends with Dan Harmon , who worked together on Laser Fart and Rick and Morty , among others . From 2016 to 2019, Davis appeared in the HarmonQuest series, created by Harmon, as Boneweevil . The two have been running the Harmontown improv podcast since 2012 .

Davis lives in Los Angeles.
