Wayne Brady (born June 2, 1972 in Orlando , Florida ) is an American television presenter , comedian , voice actor and singer . He gained fame especially as a comedian in the improv show Whose Line Is It Anyway? , Host of The Wayne Brady Show and through his appearances on television shows such as Girlfriends , How I Met Your Mother and Chappelle's Show .

Life

Brady was born in Orlando, where he also holds the Dr. Attended Phillips High School.

In 2006, Wayne Brady hosted That's What I'm Talking About . The program was aired on TV Land, which is part of MTV Networks . In the same year Brady also hosted the FOX show Celebrity Duets , in which celebrities sang duets with professional singers. From 2007 to 2009 he hosted the show Don't Forget the Lyrics! , since 2009 the game show Let's Make a Deal .

In the sitcom How I Met Your Mother he was seen as Barney Stinson's half-brother James from 2006 until the end of the show . In addition, he had guest appearances on various other television shows and sitcoms. On April 15, 2007 Brady performed as a musical guest at a Prince concert .

Brady can be seen in the music video by Chester See and Toby Turner (Tobuscus) for the song Whistle While I Work It . In October 2017 Brady sang a cover version of Michael Jackson's thriller with the American cover band Postmodern Jukebox .

Brady was married to Mandie Taketa in their second marriage from 1999 to 2007. Their daughter Maile Masako Brady was born on February 3, 2003.
