The Jeju International Airport ( Korean 제주 국제 공항 , Eng. Jeju International Airport ) is the international airport of the city of Jeju in South Korea . In terms of passenger volume, it is the third largest airport in South Korea and is the operational hub and base of Jeju Air . The route to Seoul-Gimpo is the most frequently flown flight connection in the world with over 10 million passengers (as of 2016).
As the central traffic junction on Jeju Island , the airport is particularly important for tourism.
