Jelena Vasilyevna Belevskaya ( Russian Елена Васильевна Белевская , English transcription Yelena Vasilyevna Belevskaya ; born  October 11, 1963 in Evpatorija ) is a former Belarusian athlete who specialized in the long jump . Up to and including 1991 she competed internationally for the Soviet Union .

In February 1987 Belevskaya won the bronze medal in the long jump at the European Indoor Championships in Liévin with a width of 6.76 m. Two weeks later she was also third at the World Indoor Championships in Indianapolis with exactly the same distance. She celebrated her most important sporting success in the same year at the World Championships in Rome. With a width of 7.14 m, she won the silver medal behind the American Jackie Joyner-Kersee (7.36 m) and in front of the defending champion Heike Drechsler from the GDR, who jumped only one centimeter shorter.

At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 Belevskaya narrowly missed the medal ranks when she finished fourth with 7.04 m. At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in 1991 , she was eighth.
