Jennifer Buczkowski (born April 4, 1985 in Elk Grove Village , Illinois ) is an American football player .
Career
In early 2009, she was committed in the sixth round of the WPS - Draft in 39th position by Sky Blue FC and was able to win the championship at the end of the season. In the following two seasons, Buczkowski played for league rivals Philadelphia Independence . After the dissolution of the WPS immediately before the 2012 season, she joined the WPSL elite participant Chicago Red Stars , with whom she was defeated in the Western New York Flash league final . In early 2013, Buczkowski was signed by FC Kansas City and made her league debut in the newly formed National Women's Soccer League on April 13, 2013 against Portland Thorns FC . With FC Kansas City she won the championship in the NWSL in 2014 and 2015, in both play-off finals she won against Seattle Reign FC . After the fifth day of the 2016 season, Buczkowski ended her professional career for professional reasons. By this time she was the only player in the league to have played all 71 games since the NWSL was founded. In the 2017 season she was in the squad of the WPSL participant GSI Pride .
National team
Buczkowski played for the US U-19, U-21 and U-23 selections between 2003 and 2008. With the U-21 she won the Nordic Cup in 2005 .
