Jennifer Inniss

Jennifer Inniss (born November 21, 1959 ) is a former American long jumper and sprinter of Guyanese origin.

At the Olympic Games in 1984 she came in 13th place in the long jump and was eliminated over 100 m in the preliminary run.

In the long jump she was eleventh at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 and failed at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles in qualification.

Starting for the USA, she won silver in the same discipline at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis in 1987 and was seventh at the World Cup in Rome . At the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 1989 in Budapest, she was eighth.

In 1989 she became US indoor long jump champion. In the same discipline she became NCAA champion in 1982 for California State University, Los Angeles .
