Jens Bud

Jens Knospe (* 1963 ) is a German actor .

Life

Jens Knospe completed his acting studies in Rostock at what was then the Rostock branch of the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin .

He participated in several theater productions and on theater tours. From 1993 to 1998 Knospe played roles in Dantons Tod by Georg Büchner , in A Midsummer Night's Dream and in Troilus and Cressida by William Shakespeare and in In Thicket of Cities and in The Caucasian Chalk Circle by Bertolt Brecht . From 2002 to 2008 Knospe played regularly at the Rostock Volkstheater. There he was seen in stage versions of the novella Michael Kohlhaas by Heinrich von Kleist , the fairy tale The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen and the novel The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas .

From the beginning of 1990 his career on German television began. Knospe took on continuous series roles, but above all leading episode roles and guest roles in various television series.

Greater awareness gained bud the first time when he was in the role of Uwe Holthusen in the 2005 ZDF - TV series Girlfriends together with Mariele Millowitsch and Walter Sittler was seen. ZDF also cast Knospe in the role of the romantic, handsome lover in the Inga Lindström filming Decision on the River and in the television film Flamme der Liebe from the Rosamunde Pilcher television series.

Bud also worked in a few short films and in some cinema productions . His first film role was in 1991 a small role as a German soldier in the Danish film The Boys of St. Petri .
