Jens Truckenbrod (born February 18, 1980 in Singen (Hohentwiel) ) is a German football player .
Career
He took his first footballing steps at FC Rielasingen ; At the age of 14 he moved to FC Konstanz and was used there in the South Baden A youth league. During this time he was also the first time in the DFB - Student Selection called; In 1996 he signed a three-year contract with the offspring of Borussia Mönchengladbach ; In 1997 he took part in the World Cup with the U-17 national team and finished fourth there. Although Mönchengladbach then offered him a professional contract, Truckenbrod was not used in the first division eleven. Therefore, the midfielder switched to Sportfreunde Siegen in 2001 in the Regionalliga Süd . In his third year he was there eight times and then returned to his home region: Truckenbrod signed with FC Schaffhausen in Switzerland in 2004 , where he made his breakthrough in the 2005/06 season and became a regular in the Super League team . For the 2007/08 season, Truckenbrod moved to the regional division Dynamo Dresden . For the 2009/10 season he moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena , where he received a contract valid until 2011. In mid-May 2011 it was announced that he will continue his career at Preußen Münster , where he has signed a contract until 2013. On April 29, 2013, the contract was extended to 2015. Truckenbrod has been the sole record player in the third division since August 6, 2014 (3rd matchday) with 210 league games. On June 25, 2015, he announced the end of his career. He was able to increase his record to 233 3rd league games. On November 1, 2015, he was replaced by Fabian Stenzel with his 234th assignment.
Despite his announced end of his career, Truckenbrod will play for Concordia Albachten in the district league A from the 2015/16 season.
