All over berry

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The cinnamon apple ( Annona squamosa ) is a collection berry.

Under a collecting berry is meant a plurality of ovary formed of a flower collecting - indehiscent fruit , each having a juicy to fleshy fruit wall ( pericarp own). The neighboring individual berries are fused together, and the flower base is often included in the fruit.

Collector berries are rarely found in the vegetable kingdom , examples are some species of the genus Annona : the cherimoya ( Annona cherimoia ), prickly annone ( Annona muricata ), net annone ( Annona reticulata ) and the cinnamon apple ( Annona squamosa ) or species of the genera Asimina or Kadsura .

The fruits of pokeweed ( Phytolacca ) can also be called pokeweed.
