Jens Ulbricht

Jens Ulbricht (born December 1, 1939 in Hamburg ) is a former German athlete who started for the Federal Republic .

The German champion in the 400-meter run of 1965 was the last runner of the German 4-by-2-round relay at the European Indoor Games in Dortmund in 1966 , which won ahead of the Czechoslovak team, but only these two teams were at the start. In the summer of the European Championships in Budapest in 1966 , the West German 4 x 400 meter relay was in 3: 04.8 minutes behind the Poles but ahead of the team from the GDR. The German team received the silver medal in the line-up of Friedrich Roderfeld , Jens Ulbricht, Rolf Krüsmann and Manfred Kinder .

Ulbricht ran his best time of 46.5 s in Stockholm in 1965. On February 14, 1964, the German national relay ran in Stuttgart with 4: 11.6 minutes, an indoor world record. During this run, the relay team consisted of Jürgen Jaenisch , Willi Holdorf , Johannes Schmitt and Jens Ulbricht.

Jens Ulbricht belonged to the SV St. Georg from 1895 . In his playing days, he weighed 65 kg and is 1.78 m tall.
