Rolf Krüsmann

Rolf Krüsmann (born October 6, 1941 in Münster ) is a former German athlete who - starting for the Federal Republic - won the silver medal at the European Championships in 1966 with the 4 x 400 meter relay (3: 04.8 min, Friedrich Roderfeld , Jens Ulbricht , Rolf Krüsmann, Manfred Kinder ). In the 400-meter run of these European championships, he was fifth (46.7 s).

Krüsmann belonged to the sports club VfL Bochum . In his playing days he was 1.76 m tall and weighed 60 kg.

From 1990 to 1996 he was the national coach of the 400-meter men. His greatest success as a coach was winning the bronze medal of his 4 x 400 meter relay ( Rico Lieder , Karsten Just , Olaf Hense , Thomas Schönlebe ) at the 1993 World Championships in Stuttgart , as well as previously as an exercise bike for the 400 meter runner Hartmut Weber the European championship title 1982.

He now lives in Schwerte near Dortmund .
