In December 2010, Wokujew achieved his first top 15 placement in the Eastern Europe Cup with 14th place over 15 km classic in Krasnogorsk . At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Erzurum in 2012 , he was world champion with the relay and won silver over 10 km classic. Wokujew achieved his first top 10 placement in the Eastern Europe Cup in December 2012 with sixth place over 10 km classic in Krasnogorsk. At the sprint in Vershina Tjoi in November 2013, Wokuev won the first Eastern Europe Cup. The following month he won the silver medal in the 30 km mass start race and with the relay and the gold medal in the mixed team sprint at the 2013 Winter Universiade in Lago di Tesero . He made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup on March 2, 2014 in Lahti , where he came in 49th place over 15 km freestyle; three weeks later he became Russian sprint champion in Tyumen . At the U23 World Championships in Almaty in 2015 , Wokujew won the bronze medal in the sprint and then started again in the World Cup. He was 47th in sprint in Lahti in March 2015 and scored his first World Cup points in Drammen as 23rd of the sprint. In February 2016 he took his second victory in the Eastern Europe Cup in the sprint in Syktywkar . The following month he was third in the classic 15 km and second in the sprint at the Russian championships in Tyumen. After second place in the sprint at the Eastern Europe Cup in Krasnogorsk in December 2016, he finished 36th in the Tour de Ski 2016/17 . In February 2017 he won the 15 km freestyle in Syktywkar and reached 14th place in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup. In the 2017/18 season he finished second overall at the Eastern Europe Cup with first, second and third place. In the 2018/19 season he also took second place in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup. In the following season he won the overall ranking with two first and two second places. In December 2019, he also won the La Venosta classic over 40 km.
